Ward awarded a position on ESPO framework for Hazardous and Specialist Waste Services
Derbyshire based metal and waste recycling specialist, Ward, has been awarded a place on ESPO framework 378_20 for Hazardous and Specialist Waste Services (including Site Clearances).
Following a competitive tender process, Ward, with multiple metal recycling and waste processing facilities across the East Midlands, is now a supplier to ESPO for the delivery of waste management services until June 2022.
Core services provided by Ward under the agreement include collection and disposal of hazardous waste and specialist waste streams such as dry mixed waste, green waste, wood waste and hardcore/rubble waste, liquid waste and oil, as well as site clearances, including furniture.
ESPO is a trading department of Leicestershire County Council. It is a non-profit making body owned and managed jointly by six local authorities. Its mission is to work in partnership with stakeholders to drive value-for-money for the public sector, when buying goods and services.
The objectives of ESPO for Framework 378, is to offer public sector customers access to a range of pre-approved service providers to deliver Hazardous & Specialist Waste Services (including Site Clearances). This offers value for money and an efficient and compliant route to market for routine hazardous and specialist waste collection requirements.

The ESPO Member authorities are Cambridgeshire County Council, Leicestershire County Council, Lincolnshire County Council, Norfolk County Council, Peterborough City Council, and Warwickshire County Council.
